This is my Final Major Project based from my dissertation. The main conclusion I found from my dissertation was that Street Art can be used for many different reasons and created in many different ways. However, one of the main reasons is to mark out different territories within communities.
For this project, I want to highlight how boundaries are man-made and how unnecessary they are within society. They cause more conflict and tension across the world, than if the world didn’t have them and wasn’t so segregated and sectioned off.
I want to focus on the UK for this project and the different territories within it. I think the most effective way of doing this is to section each territory on separate layers to emphasise how many different territories and barriers split up the UK. Also by listing conflicts that have occurred within the UK because of different territories, will emphasise to the audience how much they negatively impact society and unnecessary they actually are.
